EA thinks Console prices have “a long way to go”

Eric Brown EA’s CFO feels there’s still a ways to go as far as pricing for consoles is concerned. “I think pricing has not come down as much as we would have expected at this point in the cycle compared to the last,” he says. Sony has stealthily upgraded the PS3 over the past few months to unlock additional usable RAM for developers. The latest firmware updates provide developers an additional 70MB of RAM to work with.
