According to OXM the next Operation Flashpoint will be named Operation Flashpoint: Red River. There will be an exclusive  preview of the game in OXM's next issue, which hits newsstands next week. OXM  is reporting the sequel to be a  “more focused” experience than the last game. Red River is expected to be released sometime in 2011.... more.

The NPD Group’s North American sales numbers for the month of June are in. Red Dead remains the best-selling title for the second month in a row with its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions taking the first and third spots. The new Xbox 360 model led the pack coming in at 451,7k. While on the handheld side the DS came in at number one with 510,700 sales in the month of June. Full list... more.
