PlayStation TV will finally launch for North American markets on October 14, Sony announced today.
The system, first launched in Japan late last year, will cost $99.99 and have 700 titles available at launch. PlayStation TV will launch a month later for European markets.
For those not familiar with the console, the PS TV can play downloaded Vita, PS One and PSP games as well as physical Vita cards. The console can also be used to stream PlayStation 4 games through Remote Play.
Playstation 3 titles are expected to be playable when PlayStation Now comes to the system.
Sony also announced that two $140 bundles would launch alongside the standard edition. The Lego Movie bundle will include a copy of The Lego Movie video game, a DualShock 3 controller and 8 gigabyte memory card. The Walmart exclusive bundle includes the same controller and memory card with the game swapped out for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
