Tired of having a wire running from your DualShock 4 like some sort of heathen? Well, you’ll be glad to learn that the latest PS3 Firmware update added the ability to pair a DualShock 4 with the PS3.
All you have to do to get everything set up is find “Manage Bluetooth devices” in the settings menu and hit “Register New Device.” Then, to make sure the DualShock 4 can be seen by your PS3, you will need to hold the PS and Share buttons down at the same time. After a few seconds “Wireless Controller” should come up as a Bluetooth device to register.
The PS button is still useless and the list of games that support the DS4 is still spotty, so don’t get too excited.
