After a PSN screw up let the cat out of the bad a bit early, Naughty Dog has confirmed it will release ‘Left Behind’, the first single-player expansion for The Last of Us, on the PlayStation Network on February 14.
Kicking off with the surprise return of Ellie’s friend Riley, Left Behind aims to give fans a look at Ellie’s life before meeting up with Joel. The official description for the DLC can be found below.
Ellie returns as new light is shed on her relationship with Riley, her best friend from the military boarding school they both grew up in. After inexplicably disappearing for weeks, Riley reemerges in Ellie’s life with a surprising revelation. The two sneak out of their school for the last time, leading to a series of events that will forever change both of their lives.
The Last of Us’ first (and possibly only) piece of single-player DLC will cost you $14.99 at launch.
