PlayStation Now cloud streaming service announced

PlayStation-NowDuring the company’s CES keynote today, Sony President Andrew House announced PlayStation Now, a game streaming service adapted from Gaikai. From the looks of things, the service aims to allow you to stream popular PlayStation games to your PS4, PS3, or PS Vita by either renting them separately or purchasing access to several through a subscription model.

In addition to bringing older games to their newer consoles, Sony plans to add PlayStation Now to their 2014 line of Bravia TVs, with plans for the service to eventually expand beyond Sony made devices.

While it’s not officially due out until summer, Sony mentioned plans to put the service into closed beta by the end of January.
