Mad Catz Announces Android-based MicroConsole: The M.O.J.O.

MadCatz-MOJOMad Catz has announced a new entry into the microconsole market with its new M.O.J.O. microconsole.

The M.O.J.O. has at its core an Android based operating system which will allow you to connect to the Google Play marketplace and Amazon Appstore. This will enable you to download music, movies, and video games and play them on your TV. Coming with 16GB of storage by default, the M.O.J.O. can be upgraded to 128GB via its microSD slot. It also clocks in at 1.8Ghz with its Tegra 4 processor which puts it in the high end of mobile devices. The M.O.J.O. will be shipping with its own proprietary controller which can operate as an Android controller, PC controller, or act as mouse input. It will also be usable with all of Mad Catz’ GameSmart controllers, mice, keyboards, and headsets.

Priced at $249.99, the M.O.J.O. will be shipping on December 10th, 2013. No exclusive games have been announced for it yet and any game on the two marketplaces should be functional with the console.
