Techland’s latest zombie game will miss it’s late 2013 release window.
Citing the need to “add new features and game modes,” Hellraid producer Marcin Kruczkiewicz has revealed that the studio will now release the hack-n-slash dungeon-crawler for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2014.
“If we released our game this year, we would have to make too many compromises, and the final product probably wouldn’t meet all our promises and player expectations.”
“For example we want to redesign the magic system to make it even more powerful and diverse, add new ways of casting spells and a set of new, more visually stunning spells, said Kruczkiewicz.
The Polish developer is also developing a next-gen zombie-apocalypse survival game for release in 2014. Titled Dying Light, the game will task gamers with surviving nights in a world where the walking dead are, for the most part, nocturnal.
