Deep Silver has announced that 4A is developing Metro: Last Light for a release on Mac and Linux. Receiving the game first via either App Store or Steam, Mac users will get the visually depressing shooter on September 10. A Linux version is planned for later this year.
“Development was handled in-house by 4A games, and we are very happy with the results. We hope that Mac and Linux gamers will appreciate our efforts to create the best possible version for their machines,” said Chief Technical Officer for 4A Games Oles Shishkovstov.
People who bought the game for PC using Steam will automatically have access to the new versions as they release. And, as to be expected, all of Last Light’s add-ons are expected to be released for the new platforms.
