Skyrim 1.7 update out on steam, submitted for review on PS3 and Xbox 360

If you have been beta testing the new Skyrim update, or staying with your regular copy just in case, you can now rejoice! Your game is now officially updated to the new version if you are running it on your PC! Steam will automatically update the game (if you have set to auto-update) when you launch Steam and you will shortly have a whole slew of bugfixes. Unfortunately if you are running Skyrim on a PS3 or Xbox 360 you will still have a little while to wait as the patch is being submitted to the appropriate companies this week. The release notes for the patch are located here: http://www.bethblog.com/2012/07/23/1-7-beta-update-available-on-steam/.

Finally, according to Bethesda’s VP of Marketing/PR, information about Dawnguard’s availablility on PS3 and Xbox 360 will be coming “soon.”
