Ubisoft is a French company, so it makes sense that the special editions of Assassin’s Creed III have only been announced for Europe thus far. They have a history of this, and history also tells that these special editions will soon be announced for American lands.
Anyway, there are three versions, and here’s the run-down:
- (Best, but most expensive) Freedom Edition:
- 9-inch Conner figurine
- Exclusive lithograph
- Steel case
- George Washington’s Notebook
- “Lost Mayan Ruins” and “Ghost of war” single-player missions, with Pontiac’s War Club and Captain Kidd’s cutlass.
- “Sharpshooter” multiplayer package with a new character, weapon, relic, emblem, special picture, and “The Jester” title. - (Middle) Join or Die Edition:
- “Ghost of War”
- “Sharpshooter”
- George Washington’s Notebook
- An official Assassin’s medallion. - (Lowest) Special Edition:
- “A Dangerous Secret” single-player mission.
- Opportunity to unlock an exclusive Flintlock Musket.
Prices are unavailable due to these only being announced in Euros, but the prices will likely be $100, $80, and the special doesn’t even have Euro pricing yet. Also, take note that the PC versions of these editions are about 40% cheaper. So, good news to PC gamers.
