Blizzard has announced that Diablo 3 will have a whole new auction system that will let players buy and sell items with real money.
Executive VP Rob Pardo sees it as a secure way for something the fan-base was doing in previous Diablo games.
“As long as players are having fun, whatever they’re doing, I consider that a success,” he said.
Players can bid for anything from weapons, armour, gold or even characters to other players. Blizzard will charge a small fee and take a cut of the final sale amount.
In other Diablo News, Blizzard also announced that Diablo 3 will require players to be constantly connected to the internet . This is due to the new features introduced to the game like Battle.net and the auction system.
