More disappointment for fans of the Duke, as 2K Games and Gearbox Software have officially delayed the release of the long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever by a month.
In a very sarcastic video, studio president of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, announced Duke Nukem Forever’s new release dates as June 10 internationally and June 14 for North America.
In January, 2K Games and Gearbox Software put an over-ambitious May 3rd release date for Duke Nukem’s arrival. Initially the game was announced in 1997 and had troubles with original studio 3D Realms, who went through at least two engine changes reportedly costing over $30 million.
When Duke Nukem Forever does launch, if it ever does, it will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
