Dragon Age 2 Demo Lands

The days of Dragon-Slaying return as Bioware release their Dragon Age 2 Demo on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The demo consists of the prologue section, where you can select from three character classes – warrior, rogue and mage – while learning more about the protagonist of the game Hawke in the process.

There is extra incentive to download this particular demo, as two in-game items – The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall and Lothering’s Lament, respectively – will be unlocked in the full release if the demo is downloaded more than 1 million times. As Bioware’s website suggests: the task is monumental.

The demo for all three platforms is just shy of 2GB which is a hefty file for a demo, but at least the demo is offered prior to release (eyes are on you Epic). Now excuse me if you will, I have dragon soup getting cold at the table.

The full game is to be released on March 8, 2011 in North America and March 11, 2011 in Europe.
