Left 4 Dead 2: The Sacrifice DLC Review

This DLC is quite fun and just as long as any of the other campaigns. Since this is just DLC I’ll only be ranking it on value for your money and replay value.

Value for your Money:  10 / 10

I’m giving this one a solid 10 out of 10. I’m not the biggest L4D fan but coming in at just 560MSP for a whole new campaign with the original survivors seemed like a good deal to me. Valve out did themselves on this one.  After hearing the fans complain about the new survivors, they brought back the originals.  Along with the DLC boasting new achievements as well, I tip my hat to you Valve.

Replay Value:  9 / 10

The only reason it did not get a perfect 10 is because of my biggest hang-up with the entire game, it feels like it’s too much of the same. Point A to Point B, shoot some zombies in between. Then there’s a big showdown at the end. It doesn’t have a lot of replay value unless you’re playing online or with your buddies.  Although, with this game if you’re not online or playing with your buddies this really isn’t your type of game.

Overall: 9.5 / 10

If you’re a L4D fan or your just haven’t played the game in a while and where looking for a reason to, here it is. Boasting  new achievements, the original survivors returning as playable and new campaign this is a great piece of DLC. Download it today and you will not be sorry.
