Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy to be released next year

Square Enix has revealed  in the latest issue of Shonen Jump, that the sequel to the fighting smash hit Dissdia: Final Fantasy is to be released soon. Well in Japan to be specific. The sequel will hit Japanese stores sometimes in 2011 titled “Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy”. Right now we can expect that Square will unveil this next game in this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

So far only two new characters have been confirmed, Kain from Final Fantasy IV and Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. It is still unknown if there are any more new  fighters that will come to mix or if someone from Final Fantasy XII will even make an appearance in this title.

Either way if Japan is expecting this title to hit shelves in 2011, it is most likely depending when released, that an US release will hit mid or late 2011 or even 2012 at that matter.
