PS3 owners who are hoping to get their hands on the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood beta today are going to have to wait. Ubisoft confirmed to Joystiq today that the Brotherhood beta that is going to be available on the PS3 is delayed for North America. Ubisoft has also stated that more information will be available later this week on a new launch date for the beta. However, the launch date has not changed for Europe, for they are still on track for their October 4th date to play the beta.
The beta was announced as this year’s E3 stating that it would only be accessible for the PS3 as well as already having the game pre-ordered. The beta will feature 9 playable characters, as well as two maps and two game types.
You can expect the full and complete version of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood to hit shelves on November 16th for the PS3 , PC, and Xbox 360.
Update: Ubisoft has confirmed that October 4 is the new date for the PS3 beta.
