There are many good titles on the way for the Xbox 360 this year, including Halo Reach, Medal of Honor, Madden NFL 11, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier. All of these games have a lot of time and work put into them, but in the end it comes down to which one has it all.
Medal of Honor –
Now if you’re a first person shooter fan, than the upcoming Medal of Honor game is sure to make you smile. The game breaks away the franchise from World War II and takes it into today’s modern warfare. What’s interesting about this game, is that it’s in developement by two different company’s. EA Los Angelos is working on the singleplayer campaign and EA DICE (creator’s of the Battlefield franchise) is working on the mutliplayer, and we all know that means great gameplay. For what’s been heard and seen about the game so far, it’s looking pretty impressive.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier-
The Tom Clancy games have impressed us in the past, like the releases of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Splinter Cell Conviction, and many more; foreshadowing a good future for Ghost Recon Future Soldier. The game takes place in the near future (around 2063) and has had many advances made to today’s modern weapons, like operating drones and snipers that target for you. Now one thing that’s needs to be made clear is that this is a first person shooter and still has the modern day warfare feel to it.; it’s not like Mass Effect 2 or any other futuristic games and will start where the Ghost Recon franchise last left off. The game is in developement by an Ubisoft owned studio and will be available this fall. Also if you bought Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction then you can get free access to Ghost Recon Future Soldier’s Multiplayer Beta, which will be available July 2010.
Madden NFL 11 –
The Madden franchise has been one of the top selling sports genre video games since the beginning of the original Playstation and over the past few years, the games have dramatically gotten better. Madden NFL 10 unveiled the new “EA Sports Half Time Report” which were voices from real sports commentators programmed into the game and commented on what’s happening in the game you are playing. This feature is already confirmed for Madden NFL 11 and you can be sure to expect many other cool features included in the game as well. The game is set to release in August 2010 and will be a great model for future sport games in the making.
Halo Reach –
One of the most anticipated games of this year has to be Halo Reach. If you are a fan of the Halo series, than you know that Halo ODST wasn’t all that great. But with that being besides the point, Bungie gaming studios has promised one of the best Halo campaigns that any gamer has ever seen in the franchise, also including a definitive mutliplayer mode that will put Halo 3’s experience in the dust. Bungie has also let owners of Halo 3: ODST to get exclusive access to the Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta, which will be available May 3 on Xbox Live. More news is sure to come about Halo Reach and you will see it in stores fall 2010.
