A producer at DICE has stated that the company doesn’t want to charge forBattlefield: Bad Company 2 maps. According to CVG, DICE Senior Producer Patrick Bach told Xbox World 360 magazine.
“We don’t ever want to charge for our maps and insisted to EA that this attitude was crucial when it came to keeping our community happy and playing together,” he told Xbox World 360 magazine.
“We’re owned by EA but we’re still very much DICE.”
I can only think that this is a response to Modern Warfare’s $15 Stimulus Package DLC that was released yesterday.
This sound nice and all but at the end of the day EA is the decision maker.
