Even though they initially demoed Project Natal working on a number of traditionally controlled games, such as Burnout Paradise or Katamari, Microsoft has stated that there are currently no plans to try and patch Natal support into franchises already on the market. Instead they want to focus on developing original content designed specifically for Natal.
“If you were going to make a Natal game, it probably wouldn’t be Forza 3,” stated Aaron Greenberg, director of product management for Xbox 360. “What we want to do with Natal is bring entirely new original experiences to life these are going to be brand new original games.”
