Heavy Rain 2 not happening?

That’s crap, the ending where Madison is signing the books introduces someone who could be a new killer…

Man i wish that would rethank that i love Heavy Rain the BEST game i have ever played to date and i am 46 i was hoping that Heavy Rain 2 would be coming down the road……………Quantic Dream & David Cage thanks about be for saying no!!!!

EXACTLY! heck i even got a few ideas on how a story could go, and they could do something massive and cool like what you did in the 1st game could mold the story of the second game (like mass effect 2 did) and have some old characters who were alive come back and dead ones rot,(really that could get an award for diversity!)

You guys are silly… its like trying to make a sequel to films like… War of the Worlds… or whatever, it wouldn’t work. And it doesn’t NEED to work. As the game developer said, “the story has everything”. And it does, it doesn’t need or WANT a sequel…. it will ruin it.
BUT!… I would like it if they made another game none the less… not based on these characters, but different characters. Because I have now realized that this way of “gaming” seriously is the best way to do it. Because it truely envelops you into the story etc. So PLEASE make another game. But not the same characters.

OH! One more thing. If there was to be a sequel as in “Heavy Rain 2″, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to base it on ‘Jayden’ – FBI Agent – it could be based on another murder case, he is solving… simple.

Maybe the ending with madison could make the whole sequel or something i mean look at the ending with her if u make it like that u should make a sequel that ending was dieing 4 a sequel!

The man who talks to madison at the book signing is the old man from whos house madison find the blue lagoon card. if you dont kill him that is well i think so anyway

Ok then how about another game in the same style as Heavy Rain. I would have to say that this is one of the few games that left me hooked. I played from beginning to end because I couldn’t put the damn controller down.

yes their is in the good ending when page is signing the books a guy is saying * you deserve a better adversary … somebody more… feroclous* and then its like he was not their when she looked up and he had a green jacket on so their has to be.

they should make it based before heavy rain 1. and still have ethan but the family being happy. and you can free roam.

I think if they make a game like it without the same characters would be okay, but there is no way to continue the story effectively without ruining the value of the characters! I agree with his decision to not use the same characters! :)

i am one of the lucky persons who ve finished this epic game , actually this game turned my view towards games , i mean i`d never buy 1st person shooter military again i just got mad by such sad stories and drama , i v been completely surprised , (omg is this a game, no , no its a movie) really i wanted to make a new game with new story of drama and psychological horror instead making sequal one

it doesnt even have to be the same killer or same characters. just the fast paced style and shocking revelations that heavy rain is known for

In the press conference, they talk about the “Zodiac Killer” the killer that got away. they could make one on that!

guys… the Madison ending your taking about is actually an ending. so just to be clear: SHE CANT TELL HER DREAMS FROM REALITY CAUSE OF HER INSOMNIA!!!!!

here is what I think should be the story of heavy rain 2
madison:gone
Ethan:gone
Sean:saved
Norman:still in-game

Norman gets assigned to a new case which in the killer is called “the open sea killer” he gets assigned to a normal office again but this time with prestige and you have to deal with his “new” problem with the ARI which are the hallucinations, the open sea killers are kills by this way:
the victims are 12-18 years old
his motif is: the killer was bullied in high school and he was abandoned by his friend and now he’s out to see the real best friend
how he kills his victims:he hangs them upside down above a vat of water and the water slowly rises to drown him, the bodies will be found near a campus and the killer would leave a burnt flower on the chest and the victim would be covered in mud, Jayden has seen these tactics before and refers to it.
here should be the new characters:
Gregory Lockerman- a former classmate of the victim
Dan Snype- victim
Ann Stewart- Jayden’s new partner
Dan Loberman- a runaway suspect who works as a cop (which Jayden believes to be the killer because the origami killer was posing as a cop too, and according to his criminal records he is the likeliest one to be doing the killings)

that’s all I got for now I’m gonna think up more

They should make another game based on the HR engine and also retaining the same controls. I like the QTE control scheme of HR. It doesn’t track your success or failure. There is no right or wrong. If you make a mistake the game adopts to it and just moves forward.

That’s dissapointing :( . I hope they develop a game just like Heavy Rain if they do not plan on doing a sequel to the best game ever !
