Seeing that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is just a month off, I figured EA would leave a nice sized gap between that and the release of its other modern war shooter, Medal of Honor. My original prediction was Oct/Nov but it seems we could possibly be seeing the game as soon as July. The title is pinned for a Q2 fiscal 2011 release, which covers from July to September 2010.... more. -
Modern Warfare 2 ‘care package’ patch submitted to Microsoft certification

Considering the Xbox 360 version sold the most copy's of Modern Warfare 2, it comes as a bit of a shock to us that the "care package patch" has already released on PS3 and PC and is just now being submitted to Microsoft for certification. Infinity Ward's community man Robert Bowling also seems surprised by the late patch saying "Not too much longer before it's a thing of the past." ... more. -

Despite a 65 percent drop in sales, Mass Effect 2 has maintained its number one spot in the UK charts. The BioWare RPG held off Ubisoft’s Just Dance into second and Modern Warfare 2 at third. Dante’s Inferno dropped in and took the number four spot.... more. -
ESRB rating description reveals WWII mission in BFBC2

The ESRB has rated Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and in the ratings description, it notes that at one point the player is fighting in World War II. In single-player mode, players conduct missions on an unnamed Japanese island during World War II and then move into the modern day through jungles, deserts, and snowy terrain.
